We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Lead Practitioner in Maths to join our Maths department. This is an exceptional opportunity to become a key member of staff and to further develop the department with the support the SLT and colleagues.
The Lead Practitioner for Mathematics will play a pivotal role in driving excellence in teaching and learning across the Maths department. The post holder will champion high-quality pedagogy, support professional development, and model outstanding classroom practice.
Working closely with the Subject Leader for Mathematics and Key Stage Coordinators, the Lead Practitioner will contribute to curriculum design and refinement while focusing primarily on driving consistently excellent teaching and learning across all key stages. The post holder must be able to demonstrate a sustained track record of consistently outstanding teaching, recognised both within and beyond their current department.
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years teaching experience, be experienced in team management and can improve pupil progress across a range of year groups.
