The Board of Trustees are seeking to appoint an experienced Year 1 Teacher for initial deployment at Greenfield Academy. As a school with a strong reputation for excellence- particularly in Inclusion- Greenfield Academy is looking for a highly skilled practitioner who is passionate about delivering highquality provision and nurturing a love of learning in every child. Joining our dedicated and forwardthinking team, you will benefit from exceptional career development opportunities, including tailored CPD, coaching and the potential to take on further leadership responsibilities as you progress. The successful candidate will play a key role in further developing our KS1 practice, contributing to an inspiring, supportive, and collaborative school environment. In addition, this KS1 TLR post requires a strong, proactive leader who can drive excellence across the phase. The successful applicant must be able to lead KS1 provision effectively, with a clear vision for high-quality teaching and learning, robust assessment practices, and the continuous raising of standards for all pupils.
The successful candidate will:
Have consistently high expectations for pupils’ achievement, progress, and behaviour
Be an excellent teacher with experience working within KS1
Lead by example, inspiring and motivating both children and colleagues
Demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting and developing the learning of SEND pupils
Work collaboratively with the Principal and Academy Leaders to embed and promote the school’s vision
Bring innovation and creativity to teaching, learning, and the development of highquality provision
Have a genuine interest in and understanding of the importance of playbased learning
