The Board of Trustees are seeking to appoint an experienced Year 1 Teacher for initial deployment at Greenfield Academy. As a school with a strong reputation for excellence- particularly in Inclusion- Greenfield Academy is looking for a highly skilled practitioner who is passionate about delivering highquality provision and nurturing a love of learning in every child. The successful candidate will play a key role in further developing our KS1 practice, contributing to an inspiring, supportive, and collaborative school environment. In addition, this KS1 TLR post requires a strong, proactive leader who can drive excellence across the phase. The successful applicant must be able to lead KS1 provision effectively, with a clear vision for high-quality teaching and learning, robust assessment practices, and the continuous raising of standards for all pupils.


The successful candidate will:

  • Have consistently high expectations for pupils’ achievement, progress, and behaviour

  • Be an excellent teacher with experience working within KS1

  • Lead by example, inspiring and motivating both children and colleagues

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting and developing the learning of SEND pupils

  • Work collaboratively with the Principal and Academy Leaders to embed and promote the school’s vision

  • Bring innovation and creativity to teaching, learning, and the development of highquality provision

  • Have a genuine interest in and understanding of the importance of playbased learning
