Summary

HGV Multi-Drop DriverJoin a well-established logistics operation delivering specialist products to customers across the UK. This role offers the opportunity to work within a structured transport team completing multi-drop deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety, customer service, and product care. The role involves a mixture of driving, customer interaction, and physical work, with early morning starts and the occasional night-out requirements.Benefits· Starting salary £35,000 DOE· £36,500 following successful completion of probation period· £37,709.94 after 12 months’ service· Overtime paid from day one at 1.5x pay· Saturday overtime paid at 1.5x· Sunday overtime paid at double time (very rare)· £25 per night out allowance (Average one per week)· 32 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)· 50 hours per week· Full-time permanent position· Start time – 04:00· Based in Chipping NortonRole text-indent: -18pt;">· Complete planned multi-drop delivery routes to customers including bakeries, distribution centres, and retail locations· Deliver between 6 and 14 drops per day depending on route· Safely operate an HGV vehicle in line with driver hours, tachograph regulations, and road transport legislation· Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures· Load and unload vehicles using a combination of tail lift, and manual handling. At times a forklift will unload where possible.· Undertake moderate manual handling including handballing where required, sometimes unloading goods individually from pallets· Complete all delivery paperwork accurately including manifests and delivery notesRequired Skills text-indent: -18pt;">· Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence with no more than 6 penalty points· Valid Driver CPC (DQC) qualification· Valid Digital Tachograph Card· Understanding of driver hours regulations and vehicle safety requirements· Ability to complete physically demanding work including manual handling· Comfortable completing multi-drop routes and early morning starts· New passes consideredApply now!
