Full Site Based/Hybrid/Remote Working: On site, Hybrid work after probation
Hours of work: 40 hours per week
Role information:
* Lead and develop the procurement function, setting strategic objectives, implementing best-practice processes, and ensuring governance, compliance and sustainable procurement standards.
* Manage and mentor a small procurement team, setting KPIs, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.
* Develop and maintain strong supply chain relationships, identifying key strategic partners and encouraging innovation and value creation.
* Lead procurement activities during the bidding and tender stage, working closely with Directors and bid teams to define procurement strategies, identify key suppliers/subcontractors and support competitive tender submissions.
* Manage the full tender process, including reviewing ITT documentation, inviting tenders, monitoring submissions, assessing commercial offers and preparing detailed price comparison analyses.
* Evaluate supplier proposals and financial standing, reviewing alternative solutions, monitoring validity periods and supporting accurate tender calculations.
* Oversee procurement delivery post-award, establishing tender and contract award strategies, managing project procurement schedules, selecting suppliers and monitoring supply chain performance.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
* Ideally someone with previous procurement background
* Construction knowledge is desirable but not essential
* Health and Safety knowledge
UK National Security Vetting Status - Ability to gain SC Clearance
