Summary

We are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join a Assessment and Duty Team

Do not apply for this role if you do not have 3 year's experience in a permanent contract post qualification

About the role

This team complete assessments with children and families within 40 working days of referral and collaboratively work with the family to determine the right level of intervention. They work daily with different teams such as CIN , CP and MASH teams to ensure cohesive working and the best possibility of positive outcomes is reached. This team focusses on timely and quality assessments which consider need and risk.

About you

It is essential to have a degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years' experience within children's Social Work post qualified in permanent contracts. A successful candidate will have extensive experience working in a frontline safeguarding setting. The ability to be able to mediate during visits will be a crucial skill of a successful candidate. A valid UK driving license is essential to be considered for this role,
