Due to continued growth, we're offering an exciting opportunity for a Solderer to join our established manufacturing client. With over 20 years' experience, they are recognised for producing premium, reliable products that enhance productivity, efficiency, and operator safety
- Perform solder touch‑ups on circuit boards to correct issues such as voids, shorts, pinholes, cold joints, or insufficient solder, including desoldering and component removal
- Place electronic components (through‑hole and SMT) and solder them using a soldering iron and wire solder (training provided).
- Carry out final assembly of modules using appropriate fixing hardware, wiring looms, and enclosure parts.
- Build and assemble wire harnesses to specification.
- Confirm product accuracy by measuring and inspecting finished components against specifications.
- Escalate assembly issues to the supervisor to ensure timely resolution and additional support where needed.
- Keep equipment in working order by following manufacturer guidelines and reporting when maintenance or repairs are required
- Use materials and equipment efficiently to support cost‑effective production.
- Record all actions by completing the necessary production and quality documentation.
We are looking for a Solderer with a solid understanding of soldering and small electrical component assembly. You will receive one‑to‑one support to become fully familiar with our processes and procedures. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in electronics or electrical assembly.
You will be joining our Corby site, which has been established for over 20 years and holds an excellent reputation within the interconnect supply industry. Working closely with the Operations Manager, this role offers day‑to‑day variety within a respected organisation known for their outstanding service. We are seeking a Solderer who shares their commitment to quality. With dedicated one‑to‑one support, they provide ongoing training, with genuine opportunities for progression within the business.
