We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Pastry Chef to join a fast-paced hospitality kitchen delivering high-quality desserts, afternoon teas and baked goods within a busy restaurant environment.
Working as a Pastry Chef you will prepare and present a range of desserts and baked items while maintaining consistency, quality and efficiency during high-volume service. You will collaborate with the wider kitchen brigade to ensure smooth operations and exceptional food standards.
As a Pastry Chef you will bring creativity, attention to detail and strong organisation skills, helping maintain high standards while contributing positively to a collaborative kitchen team.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Pastry Chef include:
• Prepare Desserts and Pastries: Produce high-quality desserts, cakes, pastries and baked goods in line with kitchen specifications
• Deliver Afternoon Tea Service: Create and present items for afternoon tea ensuring excellent presentation and consistency
• Follow Recipes and Specifications: Accurately follow recipe sheets and preparation guidelines
• Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure all desserts meet the organisation’s quality and presentation standards
• Support Kitchen Operations: Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods
• Manage Preparation and Timing: Organise pastry preparation to ensure efficiency during high-volume service
• Maintain Food Safety: Follow food hygiene and kitchen safety procedures at all times
• Contribute To Team Environment: Support a positive, professional and collaborative kitchen culture
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Previous experience working as a Pastry Chef or in a pastry or bakery role within a commercial kitchen
• Experience in high-volume hospitality or restaurant environments
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in dessert presentation
• Experience following recipes, preparation guides and kitchen specifications
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
• A positive attitude with a collaborative, team-focused approach
