Summary

Hays are now looking for a ServiceNow Solution Architect for one of our local clients:

  • Up to £703 p/d Inside IR35
  • Remote Working
  • Must currently hold SC Clearance


Role Purpose
The ServiceNow Solutions Architect is responsible for designing end‑to‑end ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM and wider enterprise workflows. They ensure architectural integrity, platform scalability, and alignment with best practice while guiding technical teams through solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business requirements.
  • Define technical architecture, data models, integrations, and workflow designs across the platform.
  • Provide governance and oversight across development, configuration, and implementation activities.
  • Advise stakeholders on platform capabilities, solution options, and best‑practice approaches.
  • Produce architectural documentation, including high‑level designs, roadmaps, and integration frameworks.
  • Ensure platform performance, scalability, security, and maintainability across all solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical consultants, developers, and business leads to deliver high‑quality outcomes.


Skills & Experience

  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, capabilities, modules, and platform constraints.
  • Strong experience designing enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions across multiple applications (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM).
  • Expertise in integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, OAuth, SSO).
  • Strong understanding of governance, platform controls, and design best practices.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into robust, scalable technical solutions.
  • Currently hold SC Clearance
