The Carer Support Worker (Complex Needs) plays a vital role in supporting children with a range of complex physical, medical, and developmental needs. The role involves providing personalised care, promoting independence, assisting with communication, and working closely with families and professionals to ensure each child receives consistent, high‑quality support.

Requirements of our staff:
*Experience working with children who have complex needs is essential for this role.
*Kind-hearted, reliable, compassionate, warm and a ‘people person.’
*A driving licence and your own vehicle is essential as we care for people in the community in their own homes. Car insurance to include for business use.
*Willingness to achieve training requirements and register to Social Care Wales
*Applicants must be willing to undergo screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Your main duties will include:
*Provide 2:1 support to children and young people with disabilities.
*Deliver 2:1 personal care support, assisting individuals with washing, dressing, grooming, and daily hygiene needs
*Support young people to identify and design activities which challenge and develop their social interaction skills.
*To support and encourage children & young people to achieve their goals.
