Summary
Castell Howell Foods is Wales’ leading independent food service wholesaler, servicing the length and breadth of Wales, the Border Counties and the South West of England. We currently have a vacancy for a Nights Driver based at our Cross Hands depot.Main Duties and Responsibilities:We are seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to deliver palleted goods to our out depots overnight. You will be required to travel to any of our deports in Merthyr Tydfil, Porthmadog, Chirk, Avonmouth or Pembrokeshire. Once at the depot you will transfer the pallets to our delivery vehicles ready for deliveries the next day. Other duties will include:Prestart checks of vehicleOpening of out depot facilityPrepare delivery vehicles for loadingEnsure pallets are loaded as per scheduleComplete collections of goods from out depots/storageWhat you need:Class 1 Licence (Cat C+E)Driver CPCAccredited forklift training What we offer:A full-time position working Sunday-Thursday night plus 1 in 3 Friday.
