Summary
We are a small, close-knit secondary SEN school in Newbury where relationships and confidence-building are at the heart of everything we do. Our students have learning difficulties, autism and social, emotional and mental health needs. We take immense pride in providing a nurturing environment where every young person is known, valued and supported to reach their full potential.
As our Maths teacher, you will have the opportunity to shape an ambitious Maths curriculum and build meaningful relationships with a small tutor group. You will be part of a highly skilled and supportive team who work holistically to ensure every student thrives. In our small school, you will be genuinely valued and trusted to make a real difference.
If you are passionate about relationship-led learning and want to work in a school where you can truly know every student and see the impact you make, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Use the Thrive approach and trauma-informed PACE model to manage behaviour with empathy, structure and clear boundaries.
Work with a brilliant team of colleagues who share your commitment to these young people.
Track progress carefully, celebrate the small wins and use assessment to shape what happens next.
