The key duties of the post holder will be to contribute to the teaching and delivery of the Law undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes, including the academic and personal support of students. In addition, you will be expected to contribute to the student recruitment and admissions of our taught programmes.

We are particularly interested in candidates with the ability to contribute to core areas of the LLB curriculum, including The English Legal System, Legal Research Skills, Advocacy and Dispute Resolution, Perspectives in Criminal Justice and Social Policy. We also welcome applications from individuals with contemporary expertise in Family Law and Legal Practices in the Work Environment and Law-related subjects. A commitment to complete a PhD and to gain membership of the Higher Education Academy is an essential requirement of the role.

The successful candidate should demonstrate a practical awareness of current developments in Legal Education as well as being able to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a range of links between courses and the wider Legal Community.
