Summary
We have a substantive post based on 37.5 hours working week - this is expected to comprise a clinical caseload dedicated to providing high quality specialised dental care in a compassionate environment to patients who may exhibit learning difficulties, phobias, and challenging behaviour. To specialise in dentistry for people with complex additional needs, without direct supervision, who have been assessed as appropriate to access to Special Care Dental Service. This dentistry incorporates invasive and irreversible treatment and preventative procedures within the remit of an Oral Health Practitioner (Therapist) as laid down by The General Dental Council (GDC).
