Summary
We are currently seeking a Plant Engineer to provide effective maintenance, repair, and servicing of plant, buildings, and equipment across the site. This role is critical in ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and site safety.
The role
As a Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of plant and facilities, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned maintenance to minimise downtime.
Your responsibilities will include:
Attending to mechanical, electrical, plant, equipment, and building-related issues as they arise
Carrying out safety checks and statutory testing as required
Starting up and shutting down processing plant, equipment, and facilities safely and efficiently
Delivering a planned preventative maintenance programme to ensure optimum equipment performance and minimal downtime
Carrying out duties in line with BS EN ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 local working instructions and the Company Operations Manual
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities where required
Undertaking ad-hoc duties as required to support site operations
