Headway North Staffordshire is recruiting a Cook to join our team, supporting brain injury survivors through nutritious, balanced meals in a supportive environment
25+ hours per week
£13.12ph
Essential requirements:
✔️ Experience in a catering or kitchen environment
✔️ Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations
✔️ Ability to plan and prepare balanced, nutritional meals
✔️ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔️ Good communication and organisational skills
✔️ Awareness of allergens and safe food handling practices
Desirable:
⭐ Experience working with vulnerable adults
⭐ Basic Food Hygiene or Level 2 Food Safety qualification
⭐ Knowledge of dietary requirements
⭐ Experience in menu planning and budgeting
⭐ Full driving licence
