Summary

We are seeking at Kids-Time a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with young children. Educational Support

Assist with the planning and implementation of EYFS-aligned activities across age
groups (0–5).

Support the monitoring of children's progress and contribute to assessment
documentation.

Promote inclusive, child-centred learning experiences that meet diverse needs.
Team Collaboration

Support Room Leaders and educators with curriculum planning, observations, and
assessments.

Act as a point of contact for day-to-day curriculum queries or classroom support
needs.

Provide cover for classroom staff or leadership roles as required.
Quality & Compliance

Assist in maintaining high standards of practice in line with Ofsted and EYFS
guidance.

Support in implementing safeguarding policies and ensuring a safe learning
environment.

Help prepare learning environments that are stimulating, well-resourced, and reflect
best practice.

Professional Development

Model exemplary classroom behaviour, teaching techniques, and positive
interactions.

Participate in regular training and CPD initiatives, and contribute to in-house training
sessions.

Work closely with the Deputy Director to identify and address areas for improvement.
Parent & Community Engagement

Build positive relationships with parents and carers to support children’s learning
journeys.

Support in delivering parent meetings, open days, and workshops as required.
Experience

Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting.
Demonstrated leadership qualities in managing group activities or supervising staff members.
Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Experience with childcare management systems is desirable.
Valid driving licence is an advantage for transporting children or attending off-site activities.
