Summary
Kingswood School is seeking a proactive and versatile Facilities Operations Assistant to support the daily operations of our school community. This varied role is integral to ensuring the smooth running of our facilities, with a focus on porterage, event setups, assisting with laundry, provision of School transport, to and from school, for pupils and logistical support across the Foundation.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and hold a full manual driving licence. They will be friendly, professional, warm and caring, as well as highly organised, punctual, reliable and trustworthy. The role requires someone flexible and self‑motivated, able to manage their time effectively and work well both independently and as part of a team. Strong interpersonal skills, a good understanding of high cleaning standards, sound Health and Safety knowledge, and adherence to Manual Handling guidelines are all essential for successful performance in this position.
This role is a full time, year round position, for 37 hours a week. Shifts will typically be between 10.00am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday and we are open to discussion around these hours. We offer a competitive benefits package which includes a salary in the region of £26.5k to £29k per annum, depending on qualifications and experience and generous staff benefits including free lunches, refreshments and parking (subject to availability).
