HGV Class 2 / Category C Driver – Clayton Glass (Swindon)

Join Clayton Glass, a forward thinking business where people come first. We’re looking for reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to deliver glass products [Insulated Glass Units] safely and professionally to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely deliver glass products [Insulated Glass Units] using an HGV Class 2 / Category C vehicle
• Provide excellent customer service on every delivery
• Follow all road safety and compliance regulations
• Complete vehicle checks and report maintenance needs
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and communicate with the despatch & transport team

Essential Requirements

• Valid Class 2 / Category C licence
• Full Category B and C licence held for at least 12 months
• Maximum of 3 penalty points
• Up to date CPC certification and Digital Tachograph card
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Desirable

• Experience delivering fragile goods
• Forklift or Moffatt experience (training provided)

Role Details

• Location: Clayton Glass Swindon, Unit 2a, Blackworth Industrial Estate, Highworth, SN6 7NA
• Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 6am start

• Salary: £29,120 per year
