Summary
We're looking for an Employment and Skills Coach to help residents build confidence, develop skills, and access meaningful employment opportunities.
Based at our Greenham office, working hybrid with a minimum of two days a week working in the office/out in the community.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport is essential as travel throughout the region may be required.
The Role:
You'll work directly with residents to understand their needs, aspirations, and barriers. Through a blend of digital, phone, and face‑to‑face support, you'll guide them toward training, work placements, and sustainable employment. You'll collaborate with local partners, community organisations, and internal teams to create opportunities that support long‑term progression. You'll be responsible for:
Delivering tailored advice, guidance, and coaching
Creating personalised action plans and managing a varied caseload.
Providing in‑work support to help residents sustain employment and continue developing.
Contributing to externally funded programmes, local initiatives, and partnership‑based community projects.
Maintaining accurate records, track outcomes, and ensure services meet SNG's standards.
What you'll bring:
Experience delivering professional advice, guidance, or employment support using a coaching approach.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of people.
A genuine passion for helping customers achieve their goals and thrive.
(Desirable) A Level 4 qualification in Advice & Guidance or willingness to work towards one.
(Desirable) Understanding of data quality monitoring and reconciliation methods.
A basic DBS check will also be undertaken for the successful candidate.
