Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Plant Engineer to join the night shift team. You will play a key role in maintaining and improving plant operations — ensuring machinery runs efficiently and downtime is minimised in a fast-paced recycling environment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across plant machinery.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise disruption.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
Work independently during night shifts while supporting site operations.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in industrial, plant, or maintenance engineering.
Strong mechanical knowledge (electrical skills advantageous).
Ability to fault-find and problem-solve under pressure.
Experience working in a fast-moving production or recycling environment (desirable).
Flexible, reliable, and safety-focused approach.
