Summary
At St Margaret’s Hospice Care, our housekeeping team plays a vital role in creating a warm, comfortable and safe environment for the people we care for.
We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Bank Housekeeper to join our team in Taunton and help keep our hospice feeling welcoming for patients, families and colleagues.
Shifts are available between 7am and 6pm, seven days a week, and we’ll offer work based on the needs of the service.
You’ll be supporting the team by carrying out a variety of cleaning tasks across patient rooms, clinical areas and shared spaces, helping us maintain the high standards of hygiene that are so important to our care.
If you have experience in cleaning—especially in a healthcare or similar setting—that’s a bonus, but most importantly, we’re looking for someone who brings care, dedication and a positive approach.
The work can be physically active, but you’ll be part of a supportive, friendly team. A standard DBS check will be required.
We offer flexible bank shifts, full training, ongoing support, and free parking on site. You’re also welcome to get involved in wider hospice life if you’d like to.
