Summary
Core responsibilities of the role include: Workforce development, delivering Network- wide education and training, building specialist nursing capability and staff support. Provide visible senior clinical and professional nursing leadership across the Network, working closely with the Network Clinical Leads, Senior Network Manager and multidisciplinary teams to deliver consistent high-quality care, Lead in the development, integration, and continuous improvement of Haemoglobinopathy services across the Network, ensuring alignment with national standards, NICE guidance and best practice. Advocate for equitable, compassionate patient-centred care supporting patients and their families to make informed decisions, improving patient experience across the Network. Act as an expert advisor across the Network in service development, quality improvement, audit, innovation, including research and clinical trials as appropriate.
