Summary

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Project Coordinator to join our growing team and help support the Project Management Team, Technical Departments and the Major Projects Director.



ROLE PROFILE - JOB SPECIFICATION

Here's what you will be doing:

-Managing and taking ownership of meeting scheduling, minutes and action logs (Client side and Internal)

-Coordinating the Administration, Electrical and Civil design teams through the appropriate PM Channels

-Managing a database of clients, documents, and drawings 

-Liaising with Procurement, the Project Management teams and external companies.  

-Running weekly reports - for PD oversight and action. 

-Liaise with the SPMs on information requested by the Client or provided by the Original Equipment Manufacturer.

-Ensure that all VOs are responded to in a timely manner, Liaise with SPMs, and QS Departments.

-with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), (if G2E are the EPC) to confirm technical meetings are attended by G2E correctly.

-Assist in the development and implementation of a revised communication management strategy

-Investigate any complaints or issues raised by the customer and relay information to the Major Projects Director

-Delivering the company values to our customers on each time every time basis.

-Ensuring a logical and efficient approach is established with Clients to satisfy their management requirements.

-Liaise with Design, Delivery, Accounts and Commercial departments to ensure that projects are managed/completed in line with the contract terms/conditions.

-Undertake all reasonable administration duties as directed by the PD to support planned works.

-Strong coordination skills  

-Strong Microsoft and IT skills  

-Customer Service experience

-To be able to work to strict deadlines.

-Knowledge of management principles and practices

-Knowledge of Client interaction principles

-Have excellent interpersonal skills.

-Understanding of project management principles and methodologies

-Excellent conflict resolution skills

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Excellent organisational skills

Desirable

-Previously working in the construction industry

-Project management or customer account management experience

-Negotiating and influencing skills

-Experience in using MS Project

-Experience in working in a technical environment.

-High level awareness of technical principles

-Experience of procurement processes

-Project Management Qualification
