DISTILLERY BAR AND EXPERIENCE MEMBER - SATURDAYS
Location: Market Buildings, Maidstone ME14 1HP
Start date: ASAP
Part Time: 1:15pm to 10.45pm Saturdays plus overtime
Hourly rate: £Minimum Wage
Vacancy Description:
Our Distillery is looking to hire a Bar and Experience Member. Every Saturday you will staff our bar inside and out, greeting and seating customers, taking drinks orders and payment, serving drinks, clearing glasses.
You will sell our spirits and merchandise on our small shop. And you will take part in and lead our popular experiences, our Distillery Tours & Tasting, Cocktail Masterclasses and Gin Making Experience.
The nature of the business requires lifting heavy goods. Overtime will also be offered and it would be beneficial if you could be available Friday evenings also, plus some midweeks as required.
Would suit a student.
Skills Required:
3 years Hospitality Experience.
Experience in a similar field (distillery or brewery) would be useful.
Ability to work in a busy environment.
Ability to present experiences up to 1.5 hours in duration, learning the scripts, with group sizes up to 20 people.
Highly dependable and reliable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level of organisation and attention to detail.
Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment.
Excellent time management skills.
Team working skills.
Competent numeracy skills.
Awareness of Health and Safety.
