Summary
We are currently recruiting a driver/warehouse operative to join an expanding warehouse in Cleobury Mortimer. You will help with day to day running of the warehouse and deliver any orders that come through throughout the week.
Your main duties will include:
- Loading stock or goods from our warehouse and ensuring that all customer orders are delivered in great condition and customer left happy.
- Packing the goods in the delivery vehicle in an organised and safe manner that matches the order in which the deliveries will be made
- Using GPS and company app to navigate/complete delivery process
- Doing regular maintenance checks on delivery vans and informing management of any issues
- Driving in inclement weather such as snow
- Interacting with clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Unloading packages at the destination and getting clients to sign the necessary paperwork
- Taking payments from customers occasionally and bringing back safely without issue
- Assisting with any warehouse tasks when not driving
Our operating hours are Mon - Fri 9am - 6pm. Some earlier starts will be required and you will finish early to compensate.
We have all facilities expected plus tea/coffee/milk provided by the company. We also have a team lunch every friday which is paid for by the company.
