About me I am a kind and polite gentleman who enjoys travelling, and my dream is to become a flight attendant.

I was born with Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), which means I sometimes struggle with memory, organisation, impulse control, and emotional regulation. I also have a mild learning disability, dyslexia, and depression.
I’m now seeking Personal Assistant (PA) for 4 hours per week to help me keep on top of my household, stay organised, and manage daily life tasks.

Hours and rate of pay 4 hours per week – to be agreed
Location Hemel Hempstead (HP2)
DBS/Checks Confirmation of DBS check
Right to Work and references will be needed.
Training Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
• Safeguarding Adults
• Introduction to first aid
• Health and Safety

What you would be doing… • Assisting with paperwork, bills, and organising mail

• Helping keep the home clean, safe, and comfortable – including light cleaning, laundry, and decluttering

• Supporting with shopping, budgeting, and understanding the cost of items

• Accompanying the gentleman for shopping, volunteering, job seeking, or appointments (e.g., counselling, Citizens Advice, court, etc.)

• Encouraging and helping develop life skills such as nutrition, financial management, and organisation
The person I would like… Seeking a Carer, PA with previous similar experience who is-

• Patient, reliable, non-judgemental, and understanding of emotional and mental health needs

• Compassionate and supportive

• Must be comfortable working with someone who in recovery from alcohol and drug misuse

• Should respect of the gentleman’s background and faith

• A driver’s license and a car would be helpful but are not essential
