ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Be Doing:
- Build and inspect Acklea products through wiring, mechanical/hydraulic assembly, and adherence to drawings and customer specs.
- Support workshop operations by assisting other trades, performing maintenance/repairs at customer depots, and handling general workshop duties.
- Promote quality and safety by suggesting improvements, reporting issues, using correct PPE, and maintaining compliant tools/equipment.
- Work professionally and productively, demonstrating strong fault‑finding skills, completing accurate paperwork, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Protect people and property by upholding courteous conduct, securing company/personal items, and escalating any safety or maintenance shortfalls immediately.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Experience working with HGVs or LCVs
- A Full UK / Irish / EU Manual Driving Licence
- Demonstrated experience of auto electrics / mechanics desired
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a passion for vehicle maintenance
