Summary

Hours: Week 1 Monday to Friday 07:00 to 14:30 & Week 2 Monday to Friday 12:30 to 20:00 (35 hours per week)

Salary: £22,932 per annum (plus shift allowance of £504 for week 2) Rising to £23932 upon successful completion of probationary period.

Grade: CM10

Location: Unit 2, Atholl Avenue, Senitel Court, Hillington Park, Glasgow, G52 4UA



Job purpose To accurately process incoming and outgoing coin deliveries, adhering to the set customer deadlines and requirements, in a cost effective manner. Complying with all company procedures and policies, ensuring that Vaultex incur no loss and the customer is correctly credited for the coin deposited.



Main Responsibilities

Achieve required percentage of shift/team average performance coins per hour, errors, losses and service failures.

Compliance with coin processing procedures.

Identification of coin discrepancies and appropriate reporting to Team Leader/Supervisor.

Process/prepare all allocated items as required by daily role including receipt and despatch.

Amalgamation of coin counted to complete a daily balance.

Ensure work is processed in a suitable timescale to meet customer specific processing deadlines, checking that all paperwork/vouchers are present and correct.

Accurately prepare, sort and weigh all coin, by denomination and type including using sorting machines.

Other daily duties as delegated by Leadership team.

Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, adhering to the secure waste procedures and Health and Safety standards.

Long periods of standing and manual handling including operating machinery and lifting equipment.

Processing ATM Cassettes for customer packing.

Knowledge, skills and experience required

Ability to meet assigned targets/deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to handle physical tasks, such as lifting and moving cash bags.

Potential long periods of standing.

Health and safety awareness.

Good attention to detail.

Strong numeracy skills and numeric keyboard skills.

Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
