Summary

We’re a small, friendly, and supportive IT Service Desk team made up of two Service Desk Analysts and one Service Desk Manager. We value collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity—and we make time for fun along the way! Our mission is simple: give every colleague the right tools for the job and keep our public-facing services running smoothly so learners, educators, and stakeholders can access the information they need. If you’re looking for a close-knit team where your voice matters and your work has real impact, you’ll feel right at home.

We are searching for an experienced Service Desk Analyst, someone who is used to working with a user-base of over 300 employees.

Being part of this small team doesn’t mean you’re playing a small part, far from it, you’ll be heavily involved in supporting an interesting and diverse organisation with its continued exciting journey with Microsoft365 and Azure and beyond!
You will be assisting at times on smaller projects as well as troubleshooting ticket line support issues. Being a good team player and communicator are crucial for this position.

As a Service Desk Analyst, you’ll be the go-to person for keeping our IT systems running smoothly. Your day-to-day will include:

• Resolving incidents and providing excellent customer service.
• Maintaining and supporting cloud IT systems, including Microsoft 365.
• Building and configuring computers with approved software.
• Supporting public-facing services to ensure they are secure, available, and performing at their best.
• Triaging incidents to other teams within Information Management (IM) to make sure issues are directed to the right experts quickly.
• Contributing to service improvements and exciting IT projects.
• Staying up to date with new technologies and helping evaluate them.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll make a real difference to Ofqual’s ability to deliver its regulatory work.
