Summary
Allstaff Manufacturing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Production Operative for our client in Blantyre.
Hours of work: Monday-Thursday 7:30am–4pm & Friday 7:30am –3pm.
In this role, you will be responsible for the production and assembly of specialist aluminium systems (full training will be provided). Please note a drug test will be required prior to starting work.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Cut and assemble aluminium profiles and headers.
Carry out prep machining on profiles to acceptable standards.
Inspect and control the quality of products to ensure compliance with drawings and specification requirements.
Highlight any issues in quality or on-time fabrication of products, and work to promptly resolve problems.
Complete assembly of orders to ensure on-time delivery.
Eliminate waste and avoid unproductive activity.
Ensure material issued to the shop floor is protected and used correctly.
