Summary
MFJ Glass have a vacancy for a Driver & Glass Operative for our glass processing factory. PLEASE NOTE - DUE TO PREVIOUS TIME WASTERS, APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNLESS ALL CRITERIA HAS BEEN MET.
Applicants should be self-motivated, proactive, able to use their own initiative, and also be able to work as part of a team. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, reliable, showing good time keeping skills, and polite with a willing to learn attitude.
Applicants must be able to plan their own routes, meet deadlines, and organise deliveries. They will be expected to correctly load and secure the goods on the vehicle, and ideally, the candidate should be local. In addition to driving and loading, the position involves a certain amount of work in the factory, washing glass etc.
Candidates must be aware that this is a physically demanding job and ideally have experience working with glass in the flat glass industry for at least a year.
MUST HAVES:
Applicants must have a full driving licence and be aged 30+.
GCSE or equivalent qualifications in English language, mathematics, and at least one science.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Willing and flexible to work overtime as and when required.
Be able to work off your own initiative.
