What skills and experience we're looking for
St Gabriel’s RC High School are currently seeking a School Receptionist. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.
The Receptionist is the “face of the school” and will greet all visitors, contractors, pupils and parents providing a warm welcome and assisting with any queries. The role will also support the school administration function with general administration duties, data management and other duties pertaining to first aid, safeguarding, school events and other activities.
We are seeking an individual who has:
• Experience working in a busy office environment/reception area.
• Experience of dealing with difficult situations.
• The ability to build and form good relationships with students and colleagues.
• The ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding roles and responsibilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• A good standard of numeracy and literacy skills.
• The ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines.
• Good ICT skills/knowledge, particularly software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
