Summary

Join Our Team: Machine Operator (Metalworking)

Are you a hands-on professional with a sharp eye for detail and a solid background in metal fabrication? We are a leading metalworking company looking for a reliable Machine Operator to join our permanent production team.

The Role at a Glance
  • Pay: £16.00 per hour

  • Hours: 40 hours per week

  • Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30

    • Early Finish Friday: 07:30 - 14:00

  • Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and maintain metalworking machinery.

  • Focus Area: Heavy emphasis on Press Brake operation (forming and bending).

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accuracy.

  • Conduct quality checks on finished parts to maintain high standards.

  • Adhere strictly to workshop health and safety protocols.

What We're Looking For
  • Practical Experience: Proven history in a metalworking or fabrication environment.

  • Technical Skill: Specific experience with Press Brake machines is highly desirable.

  • Precision: Ability to work to tight tolerances and follow complex instructions.

  • Reliability: Someone who values punctuality and thrives in a consistent, fast-paced team environment.
