This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students' learning and making a real difference in the classroom.
Your new role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, working closely with teaching staff to ensure students can access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. Your support will be particularly focused on:

  • Lower-ability learners who may need additional guidance
  • Students with SEND needs
  • Pupils with a range of learning difficulties
  • Providing both classroom-based support and small-group interventions
  • Helping to create an inclusive, positive learning environment

This role would suit someone with previous experience in education, youth work, care, or any background where you have supported young people with diverse needs. The school is warm, welcoming, and passionate about helping every pupil thrive.
What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a secondary school setting
  • Ideally, experience supporting students with SEND
  • A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
  • A willingness to complete or already hold an enhanced DBS on the update service
