NO AGENCIES PLEASE The postholder will be responsible for delivering direct patient care in line with service needs The post holder will be responsible for the clinical leadership and line management of Audiology staff working with a specific patient group and report directly to the Head of Service. The post holder will undertake clinical supervision and training of staff The post holder is expected to update their own professional knowledge and ensure that staff within their team are maintaining theirs sufficient to maintaining registration The post holder will be responsible for the management of their specific service area in conjunction with the Head of Service who maintains accountability The post holder will be responsible for the delivery, evaluation and development of relevant scientific, rehabilitative and support services The post holder will be expected to deliver the highest standards of quality and safety for audiology patients in line with national and regional standards and guidelines, ensuring that current national and local commissioning bodies guidance is followed. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring clinical governance is implemented and managed across a specific patient group within the Audiology Service, ensuring national and local policies are implemented and maintained on a regular basis The post holder will have highly developed and specialist knowledge over a range of procedures and practices, underpinned by theoretical knowledge and practical experience The post holder will work alongside the Head of Service, Operational Management and the Clinical Director for ENT, ensuring that appropriate systems and processes are in place to always ensure the continuity of safe and effective care and deliver a timely service for patients. The post holder will deliver and monitor the service against KPIs as directed by the Head of Service / Associate Director of Operations The post holder will work with the departments senior leadership team to achieve and maintain UKAS accreditation The post holder will contribute to research, collaborating with other colleagues within the organisation The post holder will undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required
