Why This Role Matters

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to play an important role within the comms and engagement team in support of our strategic goals. You will be supporting our engagement activities involving a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, as well as helping to shape and deliver communications as part of that. You will be integral to the successful promotion of the Money and Pension Service as a trusted owner and operator of pensions dashboards as a service, shaping work that genuinely improves people’s financial wellbeing.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Senior Industry Engagement Manager, you will work as part of the industry engagement function to support the delivery of the pensions dashboards service overseen by MaPS.

You will be responsible for a range of duties including (but not limited to):

  • Drafting communications for internal and external stakeholders, including regular mailouts to our cohort of directly connected organisations (DCO)
  • Account management support of the DCOs, attending regular external meetings and supporting our engagement
  • Preparing briefings for meetings with senior stakeholders
  • Maintaining and coordinating internal briefings, rolling key messages and broader lines to take for the wider team
  • Management of queries across our shared mailbox and service management systems
  • General admin duties including booking meetings, note taking, recording and following up key actions
  • Maintaining and coordinating updates to plans, internal reporting and sharing insights
  • Accurate record keeping and careful management of contact information
  • Support the delivery of stakeholder events, including webinars, round tables and in person events

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

Essential:
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organisation and planning skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams/organisations, internal and external
• Ability to adapt communications to different audiences

Desirable:
• Experience of working on a large scale digital programme
• Experience or understanding of working in central Government or public sector
• Understanding of the pensions industry and experience of B2B engagement and communications
