The school are seeking a dedicated Year 4 teacher to cover a planned absence from after Easter through to the end of the summer term. This is a full‑time role with full teaching responsibilities, with part‑time considered for the right candidate.
Your new role
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that build on pupils' growing independence and confidence in Key Stage 2.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure high‑quality provision and continuity across the year group.
- Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all learners and supporting pupils to make strong progress.
- Keeping accurate assessment records and providing meaningful feedback to pupils and parents.
- Contributing to the wider school community and upholding the school's values in daily practice.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in primary settings, ideally within Key Stage 2.
- Strong classroom management and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Secure curriculum knowledge and the ability to deliver high‑quality teaching.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
