Hays are pleased to be partnering with a community‑driven primary school situated in North Coventry. The school are seeking a dedicated Year 4 teacher to cover a planned absence from after Easter through to the end of the summer term. This is a full‑time role with full teaching responsibilities, with part‑time considered for the right candidate.


Your new role

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that build on pupils' growing independence and confidence in Key Stage 2.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure high‑quality provision and continuity across the year group.
  • Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of all learners and supporting pupils to make strong progress.
  • Keeping accurate assessment records and providing meaningful feedback to pupils and parents.
  • Contributing to the wider school community and upholding the school's values in daily practice.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in primary settings, ideally within Key Stage 2.
  • Strong classroom management and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Secure curriculum knowledge and the ability to deliver high‑quality teaching.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
