Your new role

  • Lead and develop a collaborative, customer‑centric procurement team, fostering high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Shape and deliver category strategies across direct consumables, hardware, and indirect spend, aligning with global and local priorities.
  • Drive strategic partnerships through effective supplier scouting, negotiation, onboarding, and adherence to public‑tender requirements.
  • Establish and manage KPIs to ensure strong supplier performance, quality, compliance, and service delivery.
  • Oversee risk and quality management, including risk assessments, performance reviews, and clear escalation pathways.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations with cross‑functional partners, ensuring ethical and compliant sourcing.
  • Optimise Source‑to‑Pay processes, leveraging digital tools (including SAP) and collaborating with Shared Services.
  • Embed Social Value principles across the procurement lifecycle to support wider healthcare ecosystem commitments.
  • Use data and spend analytics to drive strategic planning, sustainability initiatives, and informed investment decisions

What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree in Engineering, Business, Science, or similar; postgraduate qualifications desirable.
  • Proven leadership in procurement within a multinational organisation.
  • Strong people‑management experience and a track record of developing high‑performing teams.
  • Skilled negotiation and stakeholder experience within diagnostics, MedTech, healthcare, or other complex regulated sectors.
  • Confidence working with public‑sector procurement frameworks and tendering environments.
  • High proficiency in digital procurement systems (e.g., SAP) and data‑driven performance management
