Role Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Drivers Mate to assist our driver with a delivery from York to Newcastle on Friday. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods, providing support to the driver throughout the journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the driver with loading and unloading goods.
Help secure items within the vehicle to ensure safe transportation.
Ensure that deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.
Follow all health and safety guidelines while working.
Assist in any additional tasks as required by the driver.
Requirements:
Ability to work early morning shifts (starting at 07:00 AM).
Must be physically fit to handle manual tasks, including loading/unloading of items.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Prior experience as a Drivers Mate or in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
A reliable and punctual attitude.
Must be available for the full duration of the shift on Friday.
Rate of Pay: £14 per hour
