The Role – Veterinary Surgeon (Minimum 1 Year Experience)
We are seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon comfortable with routine procedures and consultations, ready to take the next step in their career.
You will:
• Work up cases thoroughly in-house
• Participate in daily case discussions
• Receive hands-on guidance and mentorship
• Have the opportunity to mentor newer graduates
• Develop leadership and coaching skills
• An ambition to pursue a certificate is fully supported with funding available
• An interest in ophthalmology is advantageous but not essential
Work-Life Balance That Actually Delivers
This role is structured to support long-term career sustainability:
• 4-day working week
• Early finish once a week
• For 7 weeks out of 9: 1pm finish (effectively a 3.5 day week)
• For the remaining 2 weeks: 5pm finish
• 1:4 weekends
• 1:9 on-call shifts
• Protected breaks and allocated admin time
• Spacious staff room with sofas
Salary & Benefits
• Salary up to £75,000 DOE
