Summary
The Royal Marsden is recruiting a full-time Digital Skills Trainer to join their central Learning and Organisational Development (L&OD) team. This role is vital in training and upskilling our staff in working with current and emerging digital technologies.
As a valued member of our team, this role requires experience in designing and delivering digital skills training, including MS applications to an advanced level. The ideal candidate will also have excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and organisational skills. The role is based at our Sutton site, although cross-site travel is required.
• Ensuring the most effective use of the Trust’s systems and applications by providing high quality training and support.
• Design, scheduling, delivery and evaluation of Trust wide digital applications training.
• Responsible for assuring the introduction of new/enhanced systems and applications and representing the user requirements in the early stages of application design.

• As subject-matter expert, shaping and defining the Trust digital training needs, based on best practice and emerging digital training requirements.
• Embedding Artificial Intelligence and other new technologies in support of our digital training offer.
• As a subject-matter expert, contributing to the Trust’s approach to the use of applications including OneDrive, OneNote, SharePoint, Planner and Copilot.
• Interpreting and defining training needs based on organisational and digital strategic and operational goals and objectives.
• Working with key stakeholders across every Division in analysing training needs across a diverse group of staff, identifying skills gaps.
• Designing and creating innovative and engaging training materials, including courses, presentations, handouts, guides, tip sheets and online modules.
• Designing and delivering tailored training programmes in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Forms).
