Locum Consultant in Dermatology
The Department of Dermatology at St George’s Hospital is seeking a locum consultant dermatologist.
Applicants should be on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months of their expected date of receipt of a CCT at the time of the interview.

We are looking for a candidate who will excel clinically and academically within a friendly and busy department. The postholder will be working alongside other consultants in a supportive and dynamic environment.
The successful applicant will join a team of 11 consultants at St George’s Hospital, including the satellite Queen Mary’s Roehampton and Nelson Hospital sites. The successful applicant will be encouraged to develop areas of interest or research within the department.
St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust serves a resident population of about 300,000, is located within the South West London ICS and serves six local boroughs, primarily Merton and Wandsworth. The Trust is one of the largest healthcare units in the UK, accommodating 1070 beds and annually treating around 61,500 inpatients as well as over 420,000 outpatients. The Trust provides general acute services together with tertiary services including neurosciences, cardiothoracic, and specialist children’s services.
St George’s Hospital is the main teaching hospital in the western sector of the South Thames region and has developed links with most of the regional district general hospitals. It supports a significant training programme for junior doctors that rotate through the Trust.
