Production Operatives

Knowsley, L34 | Temporary to Permanent | Immediate Starts Available

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for Production Operatives on a genuine temporary to permanent basis for their client based in Knowsley, L34.

The company supplies high-quality beef and vegetarian substitutes to thousands of customers worldwide and offers excellent working conditions, real opportunities for permanent contracts and long-term progression.

Two roles are currently available.

Role 1: Process Controller

Monday to Friday | 6am-2pm

£14.10 per hour, rising to £14.61 per hour from 1 April.

Key Duties
  • Ensure all machines are running to the correct specification.

  • Make necessary adjustments to meet product specifications.

  • Complete paperwork to ensure full traceability.

  • Regularly handle weights up to 25 kilogrammes.

  • Assist in achieving daily targets and KPIs.

  • Maintain a clean-as-you-go area and demonstrate GMP standards.

  • Maintain high attention to detail and quality standards.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
  • Previous experience working under food hygiene or HACCP regulations (essential).

  • Experience in a QA or QC role desirable.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to standards.

Role 2: General Operative / Palletising

Monday to Friday | 3pm-11pm

£12.63-£13.33 per hour, rising to £13.14-£13.84 per hour from 1 April.

Key Duties
  • Palletise finished products ready for despatch.

  • Print despatch labels and complete documentation for full traceability.

  • Book stock out using computer systems.

  • Load wagons safely and carefully.

  • Maintain a clean-as-you-go area and demonstrate GMP standards.

  • Maintain high attention to detail and quality standards.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Assist in achieving daily targets and KPIs.
