Summary
LAFSS Children and Family Disability ServiceTo ensure we have a constant pool of staff to work within the Department’s we wish to appoint a number of Casual Support Workers.
You will work as part of a team to provide a high quality effective service to meet the needs of children. You will be required to work irregular hours, as and when required, for specific purposes. This would include homes catering for children and young people with disabilities and an outreach service.
You must have experience of working in a social care environment. Experience of working with children in a paid or voluntary capacity is desirable.
You must be able to communicate with and assist children with social, personal and physical care and implement Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and Restorative Practices within your daily practices.
