Summary

Literature Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: York City Centre
Hours: 10:00am–2:00pm, Monday to Thursday (16 hours per week)
Salary: £12.83 per hour
Contract: Permanent, Part Time

About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable, organised individual to join our friendly York based team as a Literature Operative. This role is hands on and ideal for someone who enjoys practical tasks, working methodically, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Preparing and packing items ready for dispatch
• Dispatching outgoing goods accurately
• Receiving, checking, and organising incoming items
• Maintaining a tidy and safe workspace
• Working both independently and alongside team members

What We’re Looking For
• Hard working, reliable, and eager to learn
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work well alone and within a team
• Comfortable with regular physical tasks, including lifting items up to 20kg (Reasonable adjustments will be considered in line with equality legislation and best practice on non discriminatory recruitment.)
