Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity to join the dedicated Tesco ROI team at UK Greetings as a Category Assistant. Supporting the Customer & Product Manager and the Category Controller, you will use sales data and your own creative flair to help build eye catching greetings card displays.

If you are self-motivated, process driven, and have an eye for detail then we’re looking for you! This is a great opportunity to join a team who strive to create eye catching greetings card and gift packaging displays, using data analysis and customer insights to ensure every consumer shopping our customers display walks away having purchased the perfect product.

The Category Co-ordinator role is an occasionally customer facing role, and some travel will be involved, so a full driving licence is required.

The key duties of the role include:
Assisting the Category Controllers with the interpretation of sales data to make recommendations for display changes
Collation of samples and product information for display set up
Work with the Business Information team and the Customer & Product Manager to create sales reports to monitor productivity and to prepare and deliver customer presentations
Regular Communication with internal UK Greetings divisions/departments on the specific needs of customers to develop their business
Category maintenance such as availability management
Competitor and product trend analysis

Essential Requirements:
Full UK driving license
Strong Excel skills and Microsoft Office knowledge
The ability to work to strict deadlines with meticulous attention to detail
Keen eye for market trends
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask

Desirable Requirements:
Experience in category planning or visual merchandising
Experience within the greetings card industry
