- Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible learning activities
- Support behaviour management in line with school policies
- Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and positive learning habits
- Support pupils with additional needs when required
- Prepare learning resources and assist with classroom organisation
- Monitor and record pupil progress and share observations with staff
- Contribute to wider school routines during longer-term placements
- Previous experience supporting pupils in a school or education setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships
- Adaptable across year groups, subjects, and varied school environments
- Confident supporting learning across mixed abilities
- Professional, reliable, and proactive
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
- Willingness to undertake relevant training and further development
