Teaching Assistant – Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities available immediately
These flexible opportunities are ideal for Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Haringey and the surrounding areas, helping them access learning and thrive in supportive, engaging environments.Duties as Teaching Assistant:

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible learning activities
• Support behaviour management in line with school policies
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and positive learning habits
• Support pupils with additional needs when required
• Prepare learning resources and assist with classroom organisation
• Monitor and record pupil progress and share observations with staff
• Contribute to wider school routines during longer-term placements

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience supporting pupils in a school or education setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships
• Adaptable across year groups, subjects, and varied school environments
• Confident supporting learning across mixed abilities
• Professional, reliable, and proactive
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and further development
