Summary
Load and unload products in the yards area,as part of a team and be able ti bend and pick up items. to carry out driving duties transporting materials around the site and loading of vehicle whilst working outdoor. Loading shovel licence and access platform.
You most have detailing knowledge of all current manufacturing processes.
To ensure the safe efficient operation of the plant including routine maintenance, production levels and production related quality and target achievement for he site under your control as directed by the Senior Glass Technicians.
To Assist the safe operating and usage of all plant and for the repairs and breakdown of equipment machinery and site operated vehicle, in use or in operation on the site and for removing from service any of these items having any faults or defects which might bring their safe use or operation into question and the reporting to the Senior Glass Technicians accordingly.
Develop and maintain all process documentation, ensuring compliance with current standards on safety, quality, reliability and process and ensures standards are followed.
Flexibility to cover all technician roll throughout the plant.
Set and maintains high standards for housekeeping.
Assist in shutdowns where required. Identifies sources of issues on plant quality or reliability and ensures downtime escalation procedure is followed.
The successful candidate must have:
Good communication skills are essential, to ensure the smooth day to day running of facility and an NVQ in Waste Management or equivalent is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
Must hols a valid Loading Shovel certificate
