Automotive Technician / Mechanic – Specialist Workshop
We are working with a highly respected specialist automotive business that is expanding their already successful business
As a result, they are looking to add a skilled Technician / Mechanic to their team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a workshop where quality of work, attention to detail, and mechanical sympathy matter far more than rushing jobs through the door.
The role will involve a varied mix of maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and mechanical restoration work across a wide range of interesting vehicles, alongside ongoing restoration and specialist build projects.
While classic vehicle experience would certainly be advantageous, the business is primarily looking for the right person — someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and wants to be part of a skilled and passionate team.
The Role
Servicing, maintenance and mechanical repair work on a varied vehicle fleet
Mechanical work supporting restoration and specialist build projects
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to a high standard
Working closely with a knowledgeable and experienced team in a well-equipped workshop
The Person
Experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic ability
High level of attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Classic vehicle experience beneficial but not essential
The Opportunity
Work on interesting and unusual vehicles rather than repetitive servicing
Supportive team environment with genuine enthusiasm for the craft
High quality workshop with excellent tools and facilities
Opportunity to develop specialist skills over time
If you are a technician who enjoys working properly rather than working quickly, and you would like to be part of a workshop that values craftsmanship, we would be very interested in speaking with you.
Other Opportunities & Referral Scheme
If this role isn’t quite right but you’re looking for something else in the automotive sector, please get in touch — at ASI Automotive Recruitment we’re committed to finding the right opportunity for you. We also offer a £75 voucher referral reward if you recommend a vehicle technician who we successfully place.
