This role involves delivering a high standard of cleaning within a corporate office environment as part of the Mitie cleaning team, reporting to the Regional Facilities Manager. You will take responsibility for designated cleaning areas, while also supporting colleagues to ensure all tasks across the site are completed to the required specification. The position requires completing initial and ongoing training relevant to the role, building positive working relationships with colleagues and customers, and delivering excellent customer service at all times. You will identify opportunities to improve standards, exceed expectations, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

The main duties include carrying out cleaning tasks according to site specifications and schedules, maintaining cleanliness across offices, communal spaces, and other designated areas, and using cleaning equipment and materials safely and correctly. You will also be responsible for replenishing consumables, reporting maintenance issues or concerns, adhering to all health and safety procedures and company policies, and supporting team members to ensure overall site standards are achieved.

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively and read English to a high standard. Previous cleaning experience is essential. The role requires a flexible approach to duties, along with an open, honest, self‑motivated, and determined attitude. Candidates should be reliable, hardworking, professional, and strong communicators. Being a collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when required is also important.
